YOGI STROLLS

Paddington is one of Sydney’s most walkable inner-east suburbs, with a village heartbeat that naturally prompts ambling from one street to another as you enjoy the neighbourhood greenery.

Oxford Street and Five Ways sit as the main arm of the area, surrounded by terrace-lined streets, independent galleries and the well-known Paddington Markets on Saturdays. It’s the kind of neighbourhood where grabbing a coffee before yoga or winding down after a Pilates session feels like a natural part of the day, not an afterthought.

For those new to practice, Paddington is a welcoming place to start building a routine.

WHERE TO REFUEL

  • Orchard Street is a well-loved Paddington staple for anyone looking to rejuvenate after class. They offer everything from revitalising elixirs to nourishing smoothies, creating products that energise and benefit your body without ever compromising on taste. Ideal for a quick, health-boosting pit stop when moving from your practice to the rest of your day.
  • Jackies is where Melbourne brunch classics meet the finesse of Japanese cuisine. Located right in the heart of the bustling Intersection precinct, its sunny courtyard is a dream spot for catching up over coffee or digging into a fresh, tasty brunch.
  • And then there’s Funkis Koket, Paddington’s own little slice of Scandinavia. This place is all about keeping things simple but significant, with a menu packed with organic gems. The smell of their cardamom buns alone is enough to draw you in. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who appreciates the beauty of clean eating.

Studio Pilates is a small-group or private format that gives you access to the full range of classical Pilates equipment, including the Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrel, with more personalised attention from your instructor. An initial one-on-one consultation is required before attending Studio Pilates, so your teacher can understand your goals and any conditions you may be working with.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before class, as our doors are locked promptly when the session begins. Check in at reception, leave your belongings in the lockers, and bring only your water bottle and towel into the studio. Your teacher will guide you through the class, and you’re welcome to rest at any time. If you’re new to the practice, we’d suggest starting with an Essentials or Yin class to find your feet before exploring the rest of the timetable.
