DIRECTIONS FROM RICHMOND TO OUR YOGA STUDIO IN SOUTH YARRA

One Hot Yoga has many students that travel from Richmond to our South Yarra studio as it’s conveniently close at just under 2 km! If you’re driving by car, take Church Street for the most direct route, which will take you under 10 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it’ll be just over 20 minutes; an amount of walking which can serve as a great warm-up before your class.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS (RICHMOND → SOUTH YARRA)

  • Train (fastest)
    Catch a Metro Trains Melbourne service from Richmond Station toward South Yarra Station (Frankston or Sandringham line trains stop here). Services run every ~10 minutes and the journey takes ~3 minutes.
  • Tram (easy and scenic)
    Take tram route 78 along Church St & Chapel St toward South Yarra. This tram connects Richmond to South Yarra directly and runs regularly throughout the day.
  • Bus (alternative)
    Bus route 246 travels along Toorak Rd near South Yarra Station, offering another public transport link if connecting from local bus stops.

WALKING & ACTIVE TRAVEL

  • Enjoy a pleasant 20 – 25 minute walk via Church St and Chapel St if you’re up for a low-impact warm-up.
  • Melbourne’s local myki network covers trains, trams and buses across Richmond and South Yarra; remember to tap on/off with your myki card or use the official public transport apps to plan your trip.
