As long as you apply steady effort in the direction you want to go, you have to believe that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
This may one of the most difficult things to cultivate, but the process of yoga and Pilates teach us just that. You may have heard in class, “There is no rush, but there is no delay.” No rush implies moving consciously and no delay implies constant effort. You can see this so easily in class. There are those that are quickly move onto the next thing ahead of others without listening and there those that are a bit lazy and fall behind even when there is ample time and encouragement. Patience lands us right in the middle. You do all that you can, but expect nothing. Believe that everything will come to you in the right time.
