One of the healthiest studios in the world due to its state-of-the-art heating technology, clean building materials and organic signature products, One Hot Yoga & Pilates will offer over 80 yoga and Pilates classes each week, including its signature 37 degree Slow Hot Flow, 27 degree Hot Mat Pilates, 21 degree Reformer Pilates, Power Flow, Yin and more. The marriage of an architect and yogi Rob and Lucinda Mills, One Hot Yoga & Pilates was founded in Melbourne in 2012 as the first core body temperature Slow Hot Flow yoga studio in the world. Hand crafted by Robert Mills Architects and Interior Designers, the new Sydney studio is housed in a 1930s art deco building where One Hot Yoga & Pilates brings a fresh perspective and a new energy that draws on the point of connection between architecture, design, mindfulness and movement. “One Hot Yoga & Pilates Sydney draws on the philosophy that physical and psychological wellbeing is directly influenced by internal and external space,” said Mills, owner and architect.
Offering a peaceful retreat and a place to find wisdom in daily ritual, Polished concrete floors feel smooth and cool underfoot and meet floor to ceiling mirrors. Natural fabrics are draped over the original steel framed windows, creating an atmosphere of calm without blocking the natural light or stunning views of Sydney’s CBD on one side and Paddington on the other.
